November 24 marked the 150th anniversary of the publication of “Origin of Species“ by Charles Darwin. The book has had a significant impact on science, and on our culture as a whole. To this day, the dominant theory of the origin of species is gradual descent with slight modification guided by natural selection. This is why it was refreshing to see an article by one of the biggest names opposing this view (Stephen Meyer) on CNN.com.
